اللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ النُّورِ الْعَظِيمِ، وَرَبَّ الْكُرْسِيِّ الرَّفِيعِ، وَرَبَّ الْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُورِ، وَمُنْزِلَ التَّوْراةِ وَالْإِنْجِيلِ وَالزَّبُورِ، وَرَبَّ الظِّلِّ وَالْحَرُورِ، وَمُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنِ الْعَظِيمِ، وَرَبَّ الْمَلائِكَةِ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ وَالْأَنْبِياءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ.
O Allah, Lord of the Great Light, Lord of the Exalted Throne, Lord of the Swelling Sea, Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Psalms, Lord of shade and heat, Revealer of the Magnificent Qur'an, and Lord of the archangels, the prophets, and the messengers.

اللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ وَبِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ الْمُنِيرِ وَمُلْكِكَ الْقَدِيمِ، يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ،
O Allah, I beseech You by Your Noble Countenance, by the Light of Your Illuminating Face, and Your Eternal Kingdom, O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting!

أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي أَشْرَقَتْ بِهِ السَّمَاواتُ وَالْأَرَضُونَ، وَبِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي يَصْلَحُ بِهِ الْأَوَّلُونَ وَالْآخِرُونَ،
I ask You by Your Name with which the heavens and the earths are illuminated, and by Your Name by which the ancients and the later generations are set right.

يَا حَيّاً قَبْلَ كُلِّ حَيٍّ، وَيَا حَيّاً بَعْدَ كُلِّ حَيٍّ، وَيَا حَيّاً حِينَ لَا حَيَّ، يَا مُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتىٰ، وَمُمِيتَ الْأَحْياءِ، يَا حَيُّ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلّا أَنْتَ؛
O Ever-Living before every living thing, O Ever-Living after every living thing, O Ever-Living when there was no living thing, O Quickener of the dead, O Causer of death to the living, O Ever-Living, there is no god but You!

اللّٰهُمَّ بَلِّغْ مَوْلانَا الْإِمامَ الْهادِيَ الْمَهْدِيَّ الْقائِمَ بِأَمْرِكَ صَلَواتُ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰ آبائِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ عَنْ جَمِيعِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِناتِ فِي مَشارِقِ الْأَرْضِ وَمَغارِبِها، سَهْلِها وَجَبَلِها، وَبَرِّها وَبَحْرِها، وَعَنِّي وَعَنْ وَالِدَيَّ مِنَ الصَّلَواتِ زِنَةَ عَرْشِ اللّٰهِ، وَمِدادَ كَلِماتِهِ، وَمَا أَحْصاهُ عِلْمُهُ، وَأَحاطَ بِهِ كِتابُهُ.
O Allah, convey to our master, the guiding and guided Imam, the upholder of Your command—blessings of Allah be upon him and his pure ancestors—from all believing men and believing women in the easts of the earth and its wests, its plains and its mountains, its lands and its seas, and from me and my parents, blessings equal to the weight of Allah's Throne, the ink of His words, and whatever His knowledge has enumerated and His Book has encompassed.

اللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أُجَدِّدُ لَهُ فِي صَبِيحَةِ يَوْمِي هٰذَا وَمَا عِشْتُ مِنْ أَيَّامِي عَهْداً وَعَقْداً وَبَيْعَةً لَهُ فِي عُنُقِي لَا أَحُولُ عَنْها وَلَا أَزُولُ أَبَداً،
O Allah, I renew to him in the morning of this day of mine and as long as I live among my days, a covenant, a pledge, and an allegiance binding upon my neck, from which I shall never turn away nor ever deviate.

اللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَنْصارِهِ وَأَعْوانِهِ، وَالذَّابِّينَ عَنْهُ، وَالْمُسارِعِينَ إِلَيْهِ فِي قَضاءِ حَوَائِجِهِ، وَالْمُمْتَثِلِينَ لِأَوامِرِهِ، وَالْمُحامِينَ عَنْهُ، وَالسَّابِقِينَ إِلىٰ إِرادَتِهِ، وَالْمُسْتَشْهَدِينَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ؛
O Allah, make me among his helpers, his assistants, his defenders, those who hasten to fulfill his needs, those who obey his commands, those who protect him, those who anticipate his will, and those who seek martyrdom in his presence!

اللّٰهُمَّ إِنْ حالَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ الْمَوْتُ الَّذِي جَعَلْتَهُ عَلَىٰ عِبادِكَ حَتْماً مَقْضِيّاً فَأَخْرِجْنِي مِنْ قَبْرِي مُؤْتَزِراً كَفَنِي، شاهِراً سَيْفِي، مُجَرِّداً قَناتِي، مُلَبِّياً دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِي فِي الْحاضِرِ وَالْبادِي.
O Allah, if death—which You have made a decreed inevitability for Your servants—should intervene between me and him, bring me forth from my grave, wrapped in my shroud, with my sword unsheathed, my spear brandished, answering the call of the caller in town and desert.
9 / 17
اللّٰهُمَّ أَرِنِي الطَّلْعَةَ الرَّشِيدَةَ، وَالْغُرَّةَ الْحَمِيدَةَ، وَاكْحُلْ ناظِرِي بِنَظْرَةٍ مِنِّي إِلَيْهِ،
O Allah, show me the rightly guided appearance and the praiseworthy countenance, and enlighten my sight with a gaze towards him.
10 / 17
وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُ، وَسَهِّلْ مَخْرَجَهُ، وَأَوْسِعْ مَنْهَجَهُ، وَاسْلُكْ بِي مَحَجَّتَهُ، وَأَنْفِذْ أَمْرَهُ، وَاشْدُدْ أَزْرَهُ.
Hasten his deliverance, make his appearance easy, widen his path, guide me along his way, execute his command, and strengthen his back.
11 / 17
وَاعْمُرِ اللّٰهُمَّ بِهِ بِلادَكَ، وَأَحْيِ بِهِ عِبادَكَ، فَإِنَّكَ قُلْتَ وَقَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ: ﴿ظَهَرَ الْفَسٰادُ فِي الْبَرِّ وَ الْبَحْرِ بِمٰا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِي النّٰاسِ﴾،
O Allah, flourish Your lands through him and revive Your servants through him, for You have said—and Your word is the truth: 'Corruption has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned.'
12 / 17
فَأَظْهِرِ اللّٰهُمَّ لَنا وَلِيَّكَ وَابْنَ بِنْتِ نَبِيِّكَ الْمُسَمَّىٰ بِاسْمِ رَسُولِكَ، حَتَّىٰ لَا يَظْفَرَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْباطِلِ إِلّا مَزَّقَهُ، وَيُحِقَّ الْحَقَّ وَيُحَقِّقَهُ؛
So make manifest for us, O Allah, Your guardian and the son of Your Prophet's daughter, who is named after Your Messenger, until he leaves no falsehood intact without tearing it apart, and establishes the truth and fulfills it!
13 / 17
وَاجْعَلْهُ اللّٰهُمَّ مَفْزَعاً لِمَظْلُومِ عِبادِكَ، وَناصِراً لِمَنْ لَا يَجِدُ لَهُ ناصِراً غَيْرَكَ، وَمُجَدِّداً لِمَا عُطِّلَ مِنْ أَحْكامِ كِتابِكَ، وَمُشَيِّداً لِمَا وَرَدَ مِنْ أَعْلامِ دِينِكَ وَسُنَنِ نَبِيِّكَ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ، وَاجْعَلْهُ اللّٰهُمَّ مِمَّنْ حَصَّنْتَهُ مِنْ بَأْسِ الْمُعْتَدِينَ.
O Allah, make him a refuge for Your oppressed servants, a helper for him who finds no helper other than You, a renewer of whatever has been neglected of the rulings of Your Book, an upholder of the signs of Your religion and the traditions of Your Prophet (may Allah's blessings be upon him and his family); and make him, O Allah, among those whom You have fortified against the assault of the transgressors.
14 / 17
اللّٰهُمَّ وَسُرَّ نَبِيَّكَ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ بِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَمَنْ تَبِعَهُ عَلَىٰ دَعْوَتِهِ، وَارْحَمِ اسْتِكانَتَنا بَعْدَهُ.
O Allah, delight Your Prophet Muhammad (may Allah's blessings be upon him and his family) by his vision and those who followed him in his call, and have mercy on our helplessness after him.
15 / 17
اللَّهُمَّ اكْشِفْ هٰذِهِ الْغُمَّةَ عَنْ هٰذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ بِحُضُورِهِ، وَعَجِّلْ لَنا ظُهُورَهُ، إِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُ بَعِيداً وَنَرَاهُ قَرِيباً، بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
O Allah, remove this grief from this nation through his presence, and hasten for us his appearance; indeed, they see it as far off, but we see it as near, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful!
16 / 17
ثُمَّ تَضْرِبُ عَلَىٰ فَخِذِكَ الْأَيْمَنِ بِيَدِكَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَتَقُولُ فِي كُلِّ مَرَّةٍ:
Then you strike your right thigh with your hand three times and say each time:
17 / 17
الْعَجَلَ الْعَجَلَ يَا مَوْلايَ يَا صاحِبَ الزَّمانِ.
Hasten, hasten, O my master, O Master of the Age!
